If the customer does not have a UPC code for their product, then they will apply for a GTN exemption. It is very simple process. Thy can just type “GTN EXEMPTION” into the search bar within their seller central account. And all the steps will be there for them. The GTIN exemption will then be used to generate the FNSKU.

If the product already has a UPC code, they will need to input that code into Amazon Seller Central Account when creating the listing for that product. Can I get tracking number for Air Shipping?
Yes! However this is after the shipment arrives in US. 0[-I-
Reason: Air shipping process is about 2 trips:
Trip 1: We rent space in the freight plane and ship all the goods to the USA.
Trip 2: After the goods arrived in the USA, Fedex or UPS will pick up the goods in the air port and ship them to the specific warehouses.
So after goods arrived in the USA port, we will have the tracking number and then the customer can upload to the FBA seller center. This is how air shipping works.

What does "Reserved" status means in the Amazon Inventory?
FBA inventory units may appear as “reserved” when the inventory units are either associated with a pending order, being transshipped between fulfillment centers, or undergoing FC (Fulfillment Center) processing.

FC processing can be due to weight or dimension verification or while undergoing investigation for accuracy and quality.

You may check the the breakdown of units in your inventory that are in reserved status by generating a “reserved inventory report” in your Seller Central.

You may contact Amazon Seller Support for further clarification and confirmation on your reserved units.

I was also told that if I put your port address with Amazon as a ship from the address I may get a better Amazon storage facility? The factory is asking what port? Or do you pick up at the factory? This includes all the way to Amazon correct, or do I still need to arrange the last leg through Seller Central and Amazon local rates?
Please know that we do full shipping from China [or even from the supplier’s warehouse (depends on what the customer wants)] to Amazon warehouse. There is no need for you to hire Amazon for the last leg, because we will be arranging everything to have your goods deliver to Amazon warehouse. All you have to do is select “LTL” as your shipping method and select “Other Carrier: Other” in the shipping carrier, since the freight forwarder that will be used and the shipment will be coming from China. Once you are done in creating your shipping plan on your Amazon Seller Central, you may provide us the Amazon shipment ID and Reference ID and we will handle the delivery appointment with amazon. Then all you have to do is pay and wait until your goods will be delivered.

For the Bill of Ladings, that one can be left blank for now since the BOL will be available only once the shipment was delivered to Amazon.
Which seasons is shipping generally cheaper, and which seasons is shipping more expensive?

What is commodity fee?
The commodity inspection fee is a mandatory inspection by Chinese Customs for shipment of wood or Bamboo products in nature.
Do you do DDP shipping?
I understand that you want a DDP shipping. However, we do not have that kind of shipping, but we have a counterpart for it which is already in the quotation we send to you that says “Duty: Included”. It’s for the Super Saver Sea Freight+UPS Delivery & Air Freight(UPS or FedEx Delivery).
 FBA labels
FBA labeling is the process of attaching a unique product identifier (such as a SKU) with its barcode onto the product. The FBA labels need to be attached to each unit or to the outside packaging of the unit so that the entire FBA label is visible. You need to ensure that each unit that is shipped to Amazon fulfillment centers has a FBA label on its packaging that complies with these rules, including a scannable barcode containing the correct Amazon identifier. There are two: FNSKU label for product packaging and Amazon Shipping Label for shipping carton.
I want inspection done in the port
Please know that we DO NOT conduct production inspection at the port. It will be a disadvantage on our customers because just in case there are any found defective units, you will NOT be able to ask for a rework or replacement if the inspection is being done on the port. That is why we strongly suggest that production inspection are being done on the supplier’s factory.
Do you inspect while in production or after all is complete?
We can do both mid-production and post-production inspection. The common one our customers usually request is the post-production. You will have to decide which one you prefer and inform your supplier. Then our Inspection team will contact your supplier to schedule the inspection.
Can you get the samples from my supplier?
My sincere apologies but we don’t do a pickup of samples from the supplier’s warehouse but they can send the samples to our office where the evaluation can be done by our Kai master. We charge $___ USD for Samples Evaluation and the maximum number of samples that can be Evaluated are 5 samples.
What should I select between SPD and LTL?
I understand that you have not selected yet any “shipping service” in your Amazon seller central. SPD means “small parcel deliveries” and LTL means “less than truckload”. SPD is mainly used for domestic delivery within US, while LTL is for international. Please know that if you will avail our freight forwarding services, it is important that you select “LTL as your shipping method and select “Other Carrier: Other” in the shipping carrier, since the freight forwarder that will be used and the shipment will be coming from China.
Overall inspection is not a PASS or FAIL but ON HOLD what does that mean?
I understand that you are a bit confused as to why the status of the report is “on-hold”. It is because the customer or you are the ones who will give a final decision with the production inspection result. Whether it is passed or failed for you. You may also contact your supplier and discuss with them regarding the final result of the production inspection. Please know that you can request a rework on them if needed.
I'm currently just in the process of creating my shipping plan such that I can send across the Amazon Shipping ID and Reference ID. As per your email above, you mentioned that for the shipping service, I should select "Less than Truckload" and select "Other" as my shipping carrier. Doing so generates both carton labels and pallet labels. I just wanted to confirm whether that was correct or not. Should I also be sending the pallet labels to my supplier? along with the FNSKUs and Carton Labels?
That is correct, after the shipping plan creation, you will send us the Amazon ID’s (Reference ID & Shipping ID), then you will be able to print the Amazon shipping and pallet labels, which you will need to send to your supplier.
Can you lower down the shipment value?
Regarding the Shipment value, please note the duty fee will be affected by the total goods value. Some of our clients will request us to put a lower amount to avoid high tax fee. However, this is not recommended as Customs might subject your shipment for additional inspection and might led to delays and seizure of your shipment. Kindly provide us the shipment value appearing on your Commercial Invoice for reference. Also, please confirm the shipment value you want to declare.

CPC AND CPSC
Certification means the issuance of a written Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) in which the manufacturer or importer certifies that its children’s product complies with all applicable children’s product safety rules (or similar rules, bans, standards, or regulations under any law enforced by the Commission for that product.)

Certification of children’s products must be based upon the passing test results of third party testing. The third party testing laboratory provides the testing services and results but does not issue the children’s product certificate.

Who must issue the Children’s Product Certificate?
The manufacturer or importer is responsible for drafting and issuing the CPC. The manufacturer or importer may draft the CPC by itself, at no cost, based upon the passing test results of the third party testing.
The importer must issue the CPC for products manufactured overseas, and the U.S. manufacturer must issue the CPC for products manufactured domestically. See 16 CFR part 1110.

The manufacturer or importer of a children’s product that is subject to children’s product safety rules or other standards is always legally responsible for issuing a CPC, even if a third party testing laboratory or another third party provides assistance in drafting the CPC.

If we bundle multiple items and sell them as one product (Kevin used the beer making kit and bundled different items with it like bottles, tops, for example). Do we have to pay tariffs/duty fees for each individual item even though they are all packaged together?
It all depends on the Customs receiving the shipment. But expect to have each item charge with tariff individually. For example: Whiskey decanter and glass gift set. US Customs charged decanter and glass separately.

Example tariff:
